For a 2-day visit to Cambridge with friends, I booked the rooms Allium and Wisteria and what a joy they proved to be. The king-sized beds were extremely comfortable, including mattress toppers - perfect for me as I suffer from fibromyalgia and usually have to take my own topper with me as mattresses are usually too firm. The decor throughout the house is pristine, in lovely restful muted shades of blue, grey, lilac etc. Breakfast included the usual selection of fresh fruits and organic yoghurt, followed by a full-English - excellent bacon, sausage and black pudding - plus toast from a local bakery; highly recommend the white sour dough. Delicious.

Had a wonderful stay at Sayle House last week in the recommendation of some very exacting friends. We weren’t disappointed. Only wish we could have stayed another night. Everything was immaculate and the breakfast superb. The hosts were lovely - very friendly and helpful.
